The TVLL All-Star went off with a bang this weekend and while there may not have been a winner decided Saturday, it was a wonderful way to end another season of great lacrosse.

The game was a great show of talent and the ever-growing level of lacrosse in the Valley. LAS was even able to donate our Apollo Creed shorts to the MVP of each squad. But wait… there’s more! At halftime we put on a little show for the crowd and gave away a free LAS 1Lacrosse shaft to the winner. It was great, unfortunately we weren’t able to get any video of it. Needless to say, it involved some youngsters in oversize shorts and jerseys, tripping over themselves as they made their way to the cage to score.

The game itself came down to the final minutes when the East was able to come back and take the lead, but the West answered back in the closing seconds and tied the game. With talk of sudden death, bravehearts and other overtime fiascoes, the players decided to let the game end in a tie and call it at 11-11.

Even KTVB stopped by to report on the game! The video features a little game recap and interviews with Senior Sayre Thomas (Colorado College) and Junior Austin Huckvale. Check out the video for some sweet highlights too.
