Boise Girls Help Idaho/Utah Team to 4-1 Record at National Tourney

Players from three Boise-area high schools recently competed at the Women’s Division National Invitational, a US Lacrosse Annual Tournament which ended Sunday, May 29th.

The Utah/Idaho prep girls team finished with a 4-1 record after losing 14-8 to New Hampshire in the championship game of the High School Girls “Iroquois Division.” It’s the highest finish ever for the Utah/Idaho girls select team in this annual event, which was played in Long Island, NY, and included 60 girls teams in six high school divisions.

Local players representing the Treasure Valley Women’s Lacrosse League: Alison Steinbacher (Bishop Kelly), Grace Donovan (Centennial), and Abby Ewing (Eagle). All three will be entering their senior year in the fall.
