ILA Summer League Scores Day 4 (July 14) Scores, Standings, and Photos

8 - Published July 15, 2011 by in , , , ,

On the 4th night of ILA Summer League 2011, some things changed while some things stayed the same.  The early set saw two very close matches and three upsets.  On Field #1, the Heroes fell to the Fatcats 12-11.  On Field #2, the Dirtbags (with some help from the Rhino Camp coaches and the return of Slip Job Misner) upset Thug Lyfe 13-12 to claim the Dirtbags’ first victory of the season.  Finally, on Field #3 Zeus Goose! dropped #2 T.Party 13-8.

The two late games were polar opposites from each other.  On Field #2, the Fierce Bears rallied from a 7-goal deficit at halftime to defeat the Peacemakers in overtime 15-14.  Meanwhile on Field #3, the Silver Snakes continued to roll and demolished Idaho Owlax Extreme 15-3.

In the standings, the Silver Snakes remain #1 at 4.0 with an incomparable 2.19 goals for/against ratio.  With its sound defeat of T.Party, Zeus Goose! jumps 3 spots to claim the #2 position.  Fierce Bears remain #3 while T. Party falls to #4.  Thug Lyfe’s loss drops it from #4 to #5.  Heroes and Fatcats remain at #6 and #7, respectively.  The win for Dirtbags and the blowout loss for Idaho Owlax Extreme result in a flip flop.  Dirtbags moves up to positions to #8, while Owlax drops from #8 to #10.  Peacemakers hold steady at #9 after a tough defeat in overtime.

So much for “no ringers”, huh?

The ringers were allowed because they were guests from the Rhino camp.  Grow the Game and all that.

I wouldn’t be griping but both ringers were on the same team giving Dirtbags a bench of at least 6-7 players while we had I think 3-4… That and I don’t like losing.
