ILA Summer League: Deadline Approaching (and update)

4 - Published June 21, 2011 by in Events, Featured, Summer League

Registration for ILA Summer League has hit record numbers.  As of this morning we are at 172 (compare that to 124 at the close of registration in 2010).  We’ve blown way past projections and instead of having 8 teams (which was going to be a new record), we’ll have 10!

The early registration deadline is Wednesday, June 22 at midnight.  After that, registrants will incur a $25 late fee. So, head on over to and register ASAP.

Very well said….and guess what….Bates last two recruiting classes are very good
He wants to win…just not at all cost….He already went through that mess at Brown…
No one is calling for his head because the kids love him and they learn something much bigger than lacrosse……….life!

Good recruiter, terrible coach. Does not develop talent or create a system for players to be successful in. If you really think winning and learning life lessons are mutually exclusive, then you should just move on from this discussion anyways.

Wow…..I have had three sons play in college….all from the same ridicoulously winning high school program where not one life lesson was learned… was actually not fun….it would be nice to have both and those situations are few and far between….if someone does not agree with you , they must move on…..must be great to start you own blog then
        designate yourself GOD…..

Winning does not guarantee life lessons are being taught, but you can win and impart life lessons. Hence “not mutually exclusive”
