WEEK 8 GAMES TO WATCH

Here’s the meet and potatoes of this week’s post.  There are some great match-ups at both the top and bottom of the league that you need to know about.

Wednesday, May 9

  • Centennial at Bishop Kelly (6:00pm)
  • Eagle at Timberline (6:00pm)
  • Vallivue at Wood River (6:00pm at West Elementary in Mountain Home)

The Centennial/BK match-up ought to be a good one, though I suspect Centennial’s defense may prove too much for BK.  The Eagle/Timberline game, on the other hand, ought to be a real barn-burner.  Possible game of the year right there.

But the Lax Reporter has its gaze fixed on the Vallivue/Wood River game.  This is Vallivue’s last chance to get a win in 2012.  Wood River is favored by plenty, but you never know.  For God’s sake, GO FALCONS!
