WEEK 8

Believe it or not, another TVLL regular season is in the books.  Week 8 featured some primo match-ups and sets the stage for what ought to be a fine post-season.  Here’s what went down in Week 8 (notable results highlighted):

RESULTS

Tuesday

Wood River 3, Skyview 9

Wednesday

Bishop Kelly 7, Centennial 10

Borah 3, Boise 15

Timberline 8, Eagle 4

Mountain View 13, Skyview 3

Wood River 9, Vallivue 19

Thursday

Rocky Mountain 2, Centennial 16

Skyview 6, Timberline 16

Saturday

Borah 1, Mountain View 21

Timberline 15, Rocky Mountain 2

Vallivue 3, Eagle 17

Wood River 2, Capital 5

Meridian 5, Centennial 14

Skyview 2, Bishop Kelly 14

What’s important here?  Vallivue beat Wood River!  Good job, Falcons!

Also, Centennial put away Bishop Kelly by 3 and Timberline doubled up Eagle 8 to 4.  Big playoff implications there.

FINAL REGULAR SEASON IDAHO LAX REPORTER TVLL TOP 5 POWER RANKINGS

  1. Centennial
  2. Timberline
  3. Eagle
  4. Bishop Kelly
  5. Mountain View
Though we have Eagle over BK, that’s only because Eagle beat BK in the regular season.  I’d say it’s a push for the #3 spot.  Mountain View is thrown into the mix, but having lost to numbers 1-4, we’re not convinced they are a legitimate contender for the title.
